Michael Shapcott is a painter that I stumbled across on the web, I really liked his daring color palette and emotionally charged portraits. His work deals with highly detailed graphite underdrawings which he then paints with colorful washes in oil and acrylic paints.

Since I am researching portraits of people i want to get alot of different media styles and my taste i dont like portraits that are like a photograph even though I do appreciate the time and effort in making them i just prefere pictures that are a little more creaive like Micheal Shapcotts paintings.
